Working Paper Organ

Size: 35 x 21.5  x 24.5 cm

Compressed air, crank mechanism

A bellows produces the needed compressed air. By a crank a punched paper tape is pulled beneath the organ pipes. The paper tape serves as a valve. It lets the air pass or blocks the air supply.

You will find a detailed description of the paper organ and a section drawing in my lecture during the 13th International Cardboard Modelers Convention on April 28th 2001 in Bremerhaven/Germany.
You can get the organ from Marcle Models: www.marcle.co.uk/cataloguehome.html and Scheuer und Strüver: www.moduni.de
