Sand motor

A gymnast enjoys his free time on a sunny afternoon in the open countryside.

The mechanical sculpture is driven by a "sand motor".  A sand container is located in the upper part of the shelves from which fine sand trickles on a driving wheel, an egg timer is comparable. The driving wheel turns and the gymnast swings to and fro.
